Nanoplasty Hair Treatment in Taylors Lakes

Nanoplasty is a smoothing treatment that leaves hair straighter, shinier and far less frizzy, using a formula based on amino acids and plant-derived ingredients instead of formaldehyde. At Maxi Care Beauty Salon in Watergardens Shopping Centre, our stylists use professional BKT Nanoplastia products to give you smooth, manageable hair that still moves naturally.

Why choose nanoplasty?

  • Formaldehyde-free formula – gentler on hair and more comfortable in the salon
  • Smooths frizz and reduces volume while keeping natural movement
  • Adds shine and softness from root to tip
  • Cuts down your daily blow-drying and styling time
  • Suits most hair types, including coloured and chemically treated hair

Nanoplasty vs keratin treatment

Both treatments smooth and de-frizz hair, but they work differently. A keratin treatment coats the hair with protein to smooth the cuticle, while nanoplasty uses smaller amino-acid molecules designed to penetrate the hair fibre. Many clients choose nanoplasty when they want a formaldehyde-free option, or when their hair is fragile from colour or bleaching. If you want completely poker-straight hair, permanent hair straightening may suit you better – our stylists will help you choose.

What to expect at your appointment

We start with a quick consultation to check your hair type, condition and the result you want. Your hair is washed with a clarifying shampoo, the nanoplasty product is applied section by section, then blow-dried and sealed with a flat iron. Depending on the length and thickness of your hair, the treatment usually takes around 2 to 4 hours.

How long does nanoplasty last?

Results typically last several months, depending on your hair type and how you care for it. Using a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner, and limiting very hot styling tools, will help your smooth finish last longer.

Aftercare tips

  • Use sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner
  • Wait for the time your stylist recommends before tying hair up tightly
  • Use a heat protectant when styling
  • Book a trim every 8–10 weeks to keep ends healthy
